BLUE DE CHANEL

Overview

This project is a conceptual visual exploration of how a fragrance can be translated into form, light, and motion through 3D.

Using Chanel as a reference, we focused on interpreting the brand’s aesthetic language — restrained luxury, precision, and clarity — expressing the feeling of the fragrance through composition, materials, and light rather than decorative visuals.

Approach

Designing the frame before the scene

Work begins long before building the 3D environment. Our designers start offline — defining composition, rhythm, balance, and focal points through sketches and structured planning. Each frame is constructed intentionally, treating composition as a foundational structure rather than an afterthought.

Material transformation as a narrative tool

Within the scene, material transformation was used as a storytelling element. Forms shift from solid, defined structures into softer, fluid, fabric-like shapes, creating movement and atmosphere around the bottle while enhancing the perceived character of the fragrance.

Light, reflection, and restraint

Lighting and reflections shape the emotional tone of the visuals. Controlled lighting was used to emphasize:

- clarity of form
- depth and volume
- material realism

Every element was refined with restraint, avoiding visual noise and excessive effects to maintain a calm, premium visual language aligned with the brand reference.

Results

The final visuals present the perfume as an object of quiet sophistication — refined, tactile, and intentional.

This project demonstrates our approach to 3D design: thinking in frames, building meaning through materials, and using light as a narrative element.
